One question here -
My son took high school course for Math and Spanish in 8th grade. I understand it can be added to UC and CSU (even if its not on their high school transcript). Since some highschools in CA do not added courses taken in middle school to their high school transcript, but we can send the individiual transcripts if needed. can you help confirm if thats okay ? thanks.
You do not need to send Middle school transcripts for confirmation. Reporting Middle school Math and FL courses are on the Honor system.

The grades from junior high aren’t used in the UC GPA calculation so there is no need to send the junior high transcript.
The courses are used to determine whether a student completed A-G requirements.

Thanks. And these courses will help with State wide index calculation right - for UC statewide-guarantee. thats why I want to make sure we arent missing these to be entered. thanks
Statewide index uses grades from courses taken summer after 9th grade through summer after 11th grade. Admissions index instructions | UC Admissions
The junior high courses will count towards the total number of A-G courses
