<p>Hi,
My son plays a saxophone. does anyone know a forum for middle school children and their parents? I want to see if he is going in the right direction. Ive been on Sax on the Web, which would be excellent for him but they do not have a parents forum. thanks</p>

<p>If googling turned up nothing, I’d try looking at a couple of the professional music teachers association websites. MENC <a href=“http://www.menc.org/[/url]”>http://www.menc.org/&lt;/a&gt;, MTNA <a href=“http://www.mtna.org/Home/tabid/70/Default.aspx[/url]”>Sign In, ASBDA <a href=“http://home.comcast.net/~asbda/[/url]”>http://home.comcast.net/~asbda/&lt;/a&gt; all have websites with links to numerous resources.</p>

<p>Also try your state’s music education website. </p>

<p>If you have a local youth symphony and an associated web page, they are often a source for additional info.</p>

<p>My experience is in the upper strings, sorry I can’t be of more help. Perhaps someone else here might have better info.</p>

<p>Don’t know if this is the same site you reference. It is the one our Middle School band director links to on his page for parents.
