I assume by BME you mean biomedical engineering? Please correct me if I’m wrong. Middlebury’s science department and programs include: biology, chemsitry and biochemistry, environmental studies, molecular biology and biochemistry, geology, and geography. We don’t have a pre-med program as such, but you can take most of the required pre-med classes at Midd and take a few after graduation and before going to med school. Let me know if I interpreted your question incorrectly and if so, I’ll answer it in a better fashion.

Hmmm…Lindy’s right. Midd doesnt have a BME program…akin to most LACs. I know this because BME was my first choice major at a couple of Univs that I got accepted to (Duke, Vandy) and I had to make a hard choice in sacrificing my goal of majoring in BME for a full ride at Midd.
However…you can major in biochem and mol bio and then do BME at the grad level, although to be honest, you’ll be at a pretty large disadvantage compared to thos who’ve already got a 4 year BME degree.
