@Mwfan1921 isn’t the admissions office need-blind though? Like for all they know I could need lots of money and that’s why I didn’t.
Idk I pretty much made it clear that Midd was choice #2 for me at the time (I have a slight chance of getting into my ED deferral and I don’t think that will be happening at all but I did at the time) and I got along with my interviewer super well and he understood why I didn’t do that. Like it was also clear that I knew a ton about the school and that I spent a lot of time researching it and that I visited and got a lot out of it and that I thought I’d be a great fit. It might have hurt me if I had had a different interviewer but I don’t think in this case it did. My deferral is literally the only reason why I didn’t do it and that’s why I’m regretting not doing that so much now.
@katie6745 even if you did they call, they can’t change their decision. I’m pretty sure both colleges are finished with making decisions so calling wouldn’t help. Best of luck!
@nickgaj Yeah It’s just that waitlist after waitlist has been so nerve-wracking and I’m just hoping to get into either Williams or Midd because I’m literally in love with both schools–they’re the ones I’ve really been hoping for
I did send an email with a why Midd type thing because I never got the chance to express that and it can’t hurt at this point. Good luck to you too!
waitlisted at Amherst and Bowdoin so I am hoping for Middlebury!!
All 3 are great colleges! Good luck for tomorrow
I got rejected from Bowdoin and I applied test optional. I’m honestly gonna be rejected just because its similar to Bowdoin and I had to submit my scores.
Every LACs is different. Maybe you fit better with Middlebury. Good luck for tomorrow
Waiting is hard! Really hope I can get in!
@EstherL Good luck! Just sleep! And you’ll get it as soon as you wake up
