My daughter (also a twin) also got in!! Sept admission.
Congratulations to the admits! I am thrilled that my D24 will also be a part of the Middlebury class of 2028!
Congratulations all! This was certainly the best way to start our day!
Congratulations everyone! My daughter is a freshman at Midd and has had an amazing first semester. It really is a special place ā if anyone has any questions about anything, let me know!
Congratulations!!
My kid graduated from Midd in June and she was also a Posse Scholar (from Chicago 8), and a Neuroscience major, as well. Midd loves its Posse scholars.
Has anyone gotten info on financial aid yet? Does that come later?
S24 so stoked to be going to Midd next year. the college process (first time, eh?) was stressful but it was some relief to have these kinds of shared messages to connect with⦠next time around (D26) i will be back here. thanks
It should be in the portal with the acceptance letter, ours was there!
Curiousādid the acceptance letter say how many ED1 applicants there were? Iām wondering if Midd got more ED applications after accepting almost 70% of the class early last year.
It didnāt say I donāt think. Not only did my daughter get in but the other three kids who applied early from her grade also got in, 2 for Sept 2 for Feb. Kind of amazing!

My S24 was accepted as a Reg, Class of ā28.
We are from Brooklyn, NY.
Congrats to all!

I forgot, but for you, some #PosseLove
Hi! Thank you for the Posse my son is a Posse scholar from NYC! He posted above. Iām so excited for him!
Hi, my son is considering ED2 to Middlebury. His hesitation is that heās not a skiier or outdoorsy type. Would he feel left out if heās not a skier? Heās worrying about little things, I know. Otherwise, everything about the school seems amazing.
My kid didnāt ski, and her only experience while at Midd was one afternoon on the bunny hill. She wasnāt really outdoorsy until she started attending Midd, either. She became a lot more outdoorsy, because itās so beautiful outdoors during every single season. Hiking in the fall, and even the winter, jogging when the weather was nice, etc.
Thereās also a lot to do for kids who arenāt outdoorsy - a very good friend of hers whoās still attending Midd is a lot less outdoorsy, and has a very active social and cultural life.
Thank you!
Question to all EDII applicants: Have any of you gotten an email for an interview yet? I applied well before the EDII deadline and still havenāt gotten one.
If itās helpful, my daughter applied ED this fall and was never given an interview and was accepted! She had also applied well before the ED deadlineā¦
That is helpful, thank you. And great for her! If you donāt mind, could you share a few stats about her application?
Sure, she didnāt submit her SATs, she has a 3.9 GPA. Sheās the editor for the school literary journal, a feature writer for the school newspaper and a writer for a city wide high school newspaper, co-captain of cross country & track (not running in college though), co-head of the environmental action committee and part of the climate coalition committee, performance coach for school choir, she has been in every school play and musical, community service project focused on working in nursing homes doing oral history ⦠she has some advanced classes, like advanced math every year but not all advanced classes. Let me know if you want to know anything more specific!
