ECs: Scuba diving, soccer football, 500+ hrs of Com. Service, Debate club, environmental club and miscellaneous cultarl activities. I held leadership possitions mostly everywhere. I am too lazy to further on them, basically I am very involved in each however none of them are internationally/nationally ranked ****.

Recomendations: They are good I guess, I could post them if requested.

Essays: I'll be sending 4 essays; One on how have I "grown" in this gap year, the Second on "how have your values been tested" I'll go for my change from catholicism to agnosticism, the Third one would be on my passion for languages and self-teaching myself Russian, the Fourth one is suppossed to be a "graded paper" and I have no idea were I'll get that **** from; I will probably ask them for the permission to send a random essay.

Anyone care to comment?

Although SAT II scores are not overwhelming you have a decent chance but you should go here and review the testing and application requirements for Middlebury:

The SAT does not count there (it will be sent because the College Board always sends all your scores when you request any one SAT or SAT II to be sent) so you need not worry about it. The SAT II's will. As to essays, Middlebury requires one and then also requires that you submit a paper you actually did for school showing its grading by the teacher. I would be reluctant to send more essays than they want (admin officers have to each review huge numbers of application files and they can sometimes be annoyed by the person who tries to overwhelm them with extra things to read).

They require the two essays of the common application, plus the moral dilema essay of the supplement and the graded essay; which I want to replace with another random essay since I graduated from hs already and I do not have any past essays with me.
