Hello people.

I am attending University of Pittsburgh as a freshman this fall but I am interested in transferring to a small liberal arts college because I think that type of learning environment would best suit my needs. Middlebury is one of my selected college to transfer to.

So Middlebury has the option of choosing to send 3 SAT subjects as an alternative to sending the standard SAT. The only rule is that all 3 tests must be in different subjects. I have taken US History (scored 670) and English Literature (scored 700). I am happy enough with those to scores but I must take a third test in a subject I am not particularly strong in. I figured my best bet would be Spanish.

What I would like to know from the knowledgeable posters of this forum is that if I were to achieve a very bad score on a third SSAT, let’s say a 530 or something, would this greatly decrease my chances of gaining acceptance?
