for the Monastery one i think the answer was to give to someone. I noticed that he said like “i set myself up in the room Brother ___ put me in” and when the Brother came in he asked “is it ready yet?”

Science…ugh what a joke. x_x

aren’t we not supposed to be talking about specific problems? or we get our scores voided or something? (it’s happened before.) but i will say that science was incredibly easier than usual.

English: The scientists studying the mountain chimps have been …
Stuck between comma and no comma in between ‘chimps’ and ‘have’

Math: The problem that had a triangle atop a square and asked for the angle.
It gave you the height was 6 and the hypotenuse was 34, or something like that…

The distance between the points at the airport.
I put 13

Science: The genotype/phenotype problem WwDd*WwDd
I ran out of time and couldn’t write it all out, went with (3/16)

Thanks and hope you all did very well!!

Requires no comma because you cant separate a subject from a verb.
tanX = (6/(34/2))
13
Genotype was (1/4)*(3/4) = (3/16)

hey you kno the one that said something about the ruler that has a mark every 1/8th inch?
i was stuck between 96 & 97. i cant remember what i put

the science was so hard this time!

^^^i put 96 but same and thanks fuse1921

fuse, how did you figure the tan problem out?

I put 97, because 12 x 8 + 1 (you need to add the 0 mark)

I took a TN test, form 64F or something.
Looking at the questions, I think you guys had the same form.
I totally agree with the guy on first page regarding all the answers.

One I def. missed was the one about range… I totally forgot what that was and found the median (8) instead… darn…

Well, I think I did very well overall.

By the way, I got 32 on my first ACT.

P.S. does anybody know when we’ll get these scores?

about the question about 2 houses and the distance that would be saved by cutting through the place… I think I put two

road was 6 miles up, 8 miles east. The girl moved 3 miles up and cut through to get to 4 miles east. If she used the road, she would’ve walked 7 miles. (3 miles north, 4 miles east)

If she cut through the thing, the equation would’ve been distance between (0,3) and (4,6)
Therefore, you find the squre root of 16+9, which is 5.

Distance saved= 7-5= 2

for the ship building, I put for satisfaction. For the house thing, I put that the bed was ‘not’ the simbol of power. I put A for the simile question.
Science was pretty easy, only thing I had trouble with was the ratio of the wind thing. ratio would decrease because it goes from 600:15 to 600:19.
The english was easy overall, although I found 1 error in first 40 questions and did not have the time to check the rest…

^^^Distance is right
Wind ratio as well

like 5 to 8 weeks they said
but last year they got there’s at the end of may so hopefully we’ll get them by then
and you can’t check online =/

uh oh…i think i read that math one about 8 and 6 miles wrong…dang…no 36 in math

i agree w/ the science ratio one

Does any one remember the whole genotype problem about the probality of the offspring?

^^^If they cross WwDd and WwDd, how many summer squash offspring will be disk-shaped (D dominant) and yellow (w recessive). Something along those lines…

What were the three side lengths on the triangle that was not possible? (Triangle II)

yes triangle 2

what about that refraction one…and said to list the colors in decreasing order

^yellow was in the middleI think

^thanks

what would scientist one say about the asteriods being spherical…i said something about mass and gravity

and the last passage w/ the ki and h20…anyone recall the question where what line hits what. i said solubility and boiling point or something.

also last passage, the yes or no question. something about no the solubility is increasing -8 to 120 degrees…sound somewat familar?
