<p>Does being from the midwest help in admissions? I’ve heard that there a lack of midwestern (bar “chicago”) at wes. Any comments?</p>

<p>Depends where. Ohio has a large representation every year. Ditto, Chicago. But, any place where the name is likely to be confused with a local LAC with the same name (states like Kansas, Nebraska, and the Dakotas, especially) could use some beefing up in recruitng efforts.</p>
