Midyear grades.. Should I add ECs?

So Pitt is on the top of my list and I felt a wave of dread as I opened my little envelope…Luckily it was a letter requesting my midyear grades. My original stats are: 1740SAT and 3.7GPA. For the first quarter this year I got straight As (two A-) and my second quarter grades are looking the same. I have midterms coming up in a week and unfortunately, my school considers midyear grades to be the average of the first two quarters and midterms.

Anyways, my question was, should I add my ECs? I have an essay (explaining how my multiracial upbringing has taught me different ways to view situations and be a strong leader). and two recs. I’m just unsure of my ECs because I’m second guessing them, feeling that they’re too bland…would it be better to add them or leave them out?
ECs:
Cross Country three years of HS
Track 2yrs
Sales/Cashier/Maintenance at Ski and Sports shop for two years AVG 6 days/week, 24 hrs/week
Yearbook Club 3yrs
Environmental Awareness Club 4yrs
Amnesty International Club 1 yr
Japanese Club 4 yrs
Youth Group 4 yrs
Counselor at a kid’s sleepaway summer camp for a week for 7-8 graders and another week for 9-10 graders this past summer

For your resume/EC list put down anything that you did for more than a year (ideally 2+ years in HS) and especially anything that you had a leadership role in.

The reason they want midyear grades is probably to see how you are faring in your hardest/senior-level classes. Ideally, a high GPA (higher than what you originally applied with) will help balance out your lower than average SAT (what was your M+CR?)

Whatever you do- don’t send in a second essay. I’d also say there is no need for any additional rec letters.
