I just randomly checked the Uncommon blog and it says this:

“Do not delay in sending your secondary school report or transcript just because your midyear grades are not on them. They must be sent by mail by January 2.”

Is this policy for RD applicants? Or do EA accepted applicants have to do this as well? The blog does not specify.

I don’t think that is referring to the midyear report and so would seem to be something that only the RD applicants would have to worry about, but don’t take my word for fact.

That means, if you are a RD applicant, to send in your transcript and school report by January 2nd. The MIDYEAR report does not need to be in by February for BOTH RD and EA applicants. They are just saying to go ahead and mail in whatever you have so far by the RD deadline.
