<p>Is anyone in this section an active or former member of the Mighty Sound of Maryland? I am about to start my first semester of community college next month, and Maryland is my top choice as a transfer institution. During high school, I played cymbals (freshman year), bass drum (junior year), and tenors (senior year). Hopefully, as a junior transfer, I will make either the snare or tenor line. Is there anyone here I can talk to about the Mighty Sound of Maryland? I would preferably like to speak to a drumline member since they know all the drumming jargon (paradiddle, traditional grip, etc), but anyone is welcome to talk to me about the Band!</p>
