What’s the percentage of me getting off the wait list?
And if I do get off, will the school notify me before the end of the day on April 10?

There is no way to know this. Many schools do not ever go to their waitlist. If it were to happen, it could happen as late as August.

You really can’t know. I don’t know if you had other acceptances or anything, but try moving forward with them or applying to a school with rolling admissions. I don’t know how good Millbrook is at predicting their yield, but the chances of anyone getting off the waitlist are slim. Email the admissions and let them know how interested you are. Once a month or so, but certainly not more, you can update them with any new information and let them know of your interest. Be careful if you are accepted into other private schools- they ask for large deposits that may be hard to forget if a space does open up for you. Good luck!

As for what I am being told, you don’t really know the percentage of the Millbrook waitlist, I am also on the waitlist but the chances are pretty slim. I don’t know if you received other acceptances but for me I got into the Hill School so I am pretty much attending it. Good luck!

Do admission officers actually mean “you’re definitely on top of the list” or do they just say it
