Millenium Travel certificate?

Has anyone ever responded to a promo offer from this company? I got a postcard in the mail for 2 roundtrip airfares, supposedly in celebration of their anniversary. I know that this company helps other companies with marketing efforts, such as free airfare if you pay for X number of days at a particular hotel. This offer, however, doesn’t have any other company’s marketing offer associated with it. I am one to be very skeptical of getting something for nothing. Any thoughts?

I haven’t heard of them but definitely read the fine print or better yet, just throw it out.

I live in the timeshare capital of the world (so it seems). I’d be a little skeptical.

Ok, I admit it; we did fall for it, and finally gave up the effort to cash in on our “winnings”. We did sit through the timeshare presentation, (didn’t do it, but thought it might be worth our time). For the airfare, we had to send in a deposit, $100, I think? and pick 3 travel dates and 3 destinations. We chose Jamaica, Cancun, and Las Vegas. They strung us along for several months, each one of our travel dates came, and shortly before it we got a notification that there was no availability. Finally, we got notification that there was availability to fly to Orlando for a 2-day vacation. No thanks (we can drive there)…for an “extra fee” we could extend it to be a worthwhile visit–we had had enough of them by then. We requested (and got) our money back—we weren’t out any $$ in the long run, just the dumb timeshare presentation that we didn’t go for. Bottom line, bag it.

My initial thought was to throw the “offer” away. Thanks for the feedback. It’s in the trash already!
