Hi! I was wondering if someone could chance me for Minnesota Twin Cities, Michigan Ann Arbor, and Cornell University. Minnesota I feel is a good fit for me. Michigan is a bit of a reach and Cornell probably 0% Im guessing?

My gpa is a 3.5. I transfered schools my sophomore year to get away from the drug problems at my first school. I took the ACT twice. I earned a 26 both times.

At the end of 8th grade I got involved in rowing. I spent every afternoon I had at the boathouse. During the summer I practiced every day twice a day, often rowing over 100000 meters per week. Ive raced in Boston’s Head of the Charles reghatta (largest race in the world) twice, placing in the top fourth and half of contestants. I’ve contacted coaches and both have said I’d have a pretty good shot at being on the team. I also played varsity golf freshman and sophomore year.

I have played piano for 12 years. I perform with the school jazz band on a regular basis and have placed first in state twice.

I participated in forensics the past two years and will be this year as well. I placed in the top 5 at 5 tournaments in a row last year and placed as a state semi finalist in my category (prose has 100+ entries). Our team won state.

This year I scored a lead role in my high school’s musical. I have many singing and dancing solos.

I worked as a caddie for two years and have worked currently in fast food for the past one.

I was the announcer/dj at a benefit for mentally handicapped adults the past 3 years. I collected toys and wrapped them for children on welfare fresh and soph years. I also will be playing music at an event for the second time this year in which proceeds go to charity.

Ive taken 3 APs. Bio psych and lit.

If I think of anything else Ill post it. Thankyou!
