Minor to pursue

What is the best minor to pursue if you are interested in communications, law, and business? By best, I mean, most helpful in future, educational and enlightening.

Thank you~

you sound like you were made for the BEMT minor.

You can take classes through Steinhardt’s Music Business, Communications, and Technology courseload-classes like the legal aspects of the music business, video game marketing, etc.
You can take a boatload of classes at Stern, and a bunch from Tisch. All have law courses attached to them. IE Entertainment Law, Movie Marketing, Entertainment Finance, some weird like teamwork consensus building classes, etc.

English maybe? You’ll improve your vocabulary, writing skills, and critical reading ability.

For vocab, you could always just read a lot. That probably improves your reading skills as well, although English classes from what I’ve seen will train you to pick apart things down to individual word choice, which you can’t get from just reading. As far as writing goes, this can be improved through writing critical analysis, reading a lot (reading improves writing), or taking classes specifically designed to teach writing.

I’m not an English major or minor, although I try to read a ton at home to compensate for this as well as taking writing-intensive classes in subjects I enjoy (like law, political theory, modern history, etc.)

thanks for your insight. i will consider both thoughtfully!!
