<p>I am a Hispanic High School Student in NC. I have a 3.25 and am applying to NCSU and Appalachian State. I have two questions </p>

<li>What is the lowest GPA anyone has every had to get into these schools?</li>
<li>Do I have a legitimate chance of getting in which the minority status making up the gap in my GPA?</li>
</ol>
<p>My observation’s suggests URM status helps with sat’s, but not GPA’s.</p>
<p>Whether or not you get any kind of URM ‘bump’ can depend on many factors, including whether or not you’re underprivileged (low income, attend and underserved HS, have overcome obstacles, etc.).</p>
