<p>I was introduced to her when I took an American popular music class in community college in the early 80’s ( by a prof who went on to teach at Northwestern- I couldn’t imagine why he wanted to leave Seattle for Michigan :wink: )</p>

<p>My radio station is playing a tribute to her right now. I really don’t know much about her; they play a few of her songs occasionally.</p>
