Misleading instructions for SAT...

Well, thanks, because of College Board’s misleading information, I am subject to reschedule my SAT for which I was scheduled today. Please rectify this matter for future registrations.

Having never taken the SAT, I showed up an hour and 30 minutes prior to the exam and did not know what to expect except when the time approached that indicated the exam was about to begin.

I registered for this exam in a month’s advance, that I had everything prepared. However, upon entering my assigned room, I WAS NOT ALLOWED IN. I was aware of everything that would result in this course of action that I had taken precautionary measures to avoid this. This would leave me somewhat mad but disappointed.

I had no photo ID on my person when I confronted the proctor? The required materials included a photo identification (That was printed with and along my admission ticket), BUT she was checking driver licenses from most of the other students??? NOTHING in the required materials listed a drivers license or TWO proofs of identification that would grant access.

This is so misleading, I came prepared 95 minutes prior and have been studying for this exam for a month to get rejected?

@GodlikeRage I’m sorry for your waste of time but you need an original (not “printed”) photo ID either government or school issue to match to the printed photo on your admission ticket. CB is very clear and not misleading about this at all.

Did you read this?

You don’t need a drivers license, you could have used your school photo ID or a passport.

That is your fault, not College Board’s.

As @3scoutsmom said, you do not need a driver’s license, but you need some sort of photo ID (e.g. school ID, passport, learner’s permit, state-issued ID card).

MODERATOR’S NOTE:
Closing thread as there is nothing more to say that has not been said. As stated above, the College Board was very clear.
