<p>Okay I feel really stupid right now. On the second prompt of the AP English Language test, I completely misread the prompt (thought it was evaluating the argument rather than examining the rhetorical strategies T_T) and pretty much wrote an off topic essay. If my other essays were decent (6-8 on the synthesis and 6-7 on the argument) as well as my multiple choice (40-45ish) do I have any chance of making a 4? :(</p>
<p>off topic and not analyzing any terms = the scoring rubric for off topic which leads to about 1-3… sorry…</p>
<p>I am in a similar situation, as I accidentally misread the synthesis prompt and wrote about why building monuments is a good thing…exactly how low will they mark it? Is it possible it could be lower than a 4, if it was a decent essay otherwise? I’m really annoyed because I feel like I did well on the multiple choice and the other 2 essays were decent, but this essay may hurt me quite a bit.</p>
