I am very sorry if this is in the wrong section; I am new here. However, I have gone on to IVC (Irvine Valley College) website and found that my matriculation deadline is tomorrow. I contacted them yesterday and told them that I had never received any sort of confirmation from them, and they resent it to me today. I have completed orientation now but I still need to do an assessment, and the next available appointment is a month after my deadline. What does this mean for me? Will I still be able to participate in fall courses or will I have to wait and re-register in the spring? Thank you very much for any help you can offer me.
I think this is more of a question that you should ask IVC. however, my best guess would be that since you didnt even get the confirmation until today, they would let you do the assessment and enroll in the fall; it wouldnt be fair if they didnt give you that opportunity, and plus, colleges dont like to lose students. but again, your best bet is to ask them directly.
You should call IVC and verify, but my assumption would be that once you complete your assessment, you will be able to register for Fall classes at the next registration date for new students.
