Long story short, I slept through my AP Brit Lit and Comp test today and I felt it imperative to make it up, until I remembered that unless I got a 4, I would still have to take a full 2 semesters at Cal, then I remembered that it also prevents me from going on our Senior Disneyland Trip, because the make up is scheduled that same day.

So basically I’m stuck in a gamble. Should I ditch Disneyland and risk taking the test and not getting a 4 or a 5 (thus making it all for nothing)?

The biggest question: will it jeopardize my admission if I don’t take it?
(I already submitted the same question to the admissions people, I’m just wondering what the response will probably be)

I would go on the Disneyland trip!!! Because one AP score is not going to make or break your record. Just take the 2 full semesters at CALBerksss.

I don’t think it would jeopardize your chances if you let them know.

But I would take it if you think you have a chance of getting a 4/5! I wouldn’t want to waste my time on those classes at Berkeley. But if you really don’t think you’ll be able to get a 4 then just go have fun at Disneyland! :)

it doesn’t jeopardize your chances whatsoever.

ultimately, it depends on how well you’ve been doing in those classes and whether that’ll warrant a 4/5. Honestly, I see skipping 1-2 semesters of work better than one day at Disneyland. You can always go some other day, but you can’t really take the make-up test except for that specific day.

nice dilemma. lol. if you get a 4 for lit, you still need 1 semester. you need to hit a 5 on lit to skip both semesters i thought. it’s up to you if you feel you can hit that 4 or 5. if not, hell just go to dland and enjoy with friends as this is one of the last times you’ll be together in the same school as teenagers.
Damn, i’m thinking about it now and I feel bad for missing out on both my senior trip to dland and grad night. boo
