missing IDOC deadline

What sorts of consequences occur if you don’t meet IDOC deadlines? thanks

Hey
Amherst and Swathmore needed it for me and I let the email sit in my inbox for a month. They emailed my mom and we did a rush job. The website said to send the returns and W2s to the college directly if the deadline was missed. I think the whole thing is to make the transaction incorporate less paper. The info is sent to the colleges electronically. i would not think there is a penalty.

My understanding…IDOC is an firm hired by College Board-who is hired by the individual universities. They review the tax returns, forms, and then issue a report to the fin.aid offices of the universities…that is why they only need one copy of the returns/forms.Be sure to include the cover sheet.I do not know the ramifications if they are sent after March 01. hang in there!

I’m worried because I sent mine in today and I live in CA. When I saw the email I thought it was part of the CSS Profile and ignored it since I had already completed it. I sent it to Collegeboard though, will this screw me over since I have an EFC of 400…
