Mission College in Santa Clara

Anyone goes to Mission College this summer?
Anyone took Biological Science courses in Mission College before?
I want to know how well it is. Thanks for any input.

Your question is not very clear - how “well” it is? Can you be more specific?

If you are asking how well it is taught, the reality is that it will depend on the professor. I recommend ratemyprofessor dot com and look for professors at Mission (or at West Valley College) that get high rankings.

If you want to know how difficult the course is, again, depends on the actual course plus professors. But most the beginning courses are considered “intro” courses and don’t go too deeply into concepts and assume the student is a beginner with little to no biology information/experience.

If you are taking it as a summer course over 6 weeks, that is quite fast. Lots of reading and memorizing of concepts for the tests. It can also be a long day with several hours of lecture followed by lab.

The course that I am thinking to take is “Human Heredity and Disease” at Mission College in summer. I could not find the faculty in rate my professor dot com. There is no faculty contact and no information about the instructor in BIOSC of Mission Website. So I found no way to contact any one. I am taking it at Mission is because my original college’s summer classes are all waitlist full. I don’t know any one in Mission and will be new to this environment.
