Mistake! what do I do now!?

I just sent in my app and it turns out I never finished answering one of the questions! These are the two parts to the question:

 1. What concept in your anticipated major were you most proud of mastering?
 2. Briefly describe the course (or courses) you have taken up to the present in your chosen field of science. If possible, please include the title of the textbook and a short syllabus.

Because my school doesn’t offer any computer science course, I forgot to even mention part 2 of the question. Should I call tomorrow and fax my answer?

Just mail them the answer, making sure that you put your social security # and name on it. Follow up several days later to make sure it’s put into your application package. Don’t fax the info because they may not get it. That’s particularly true of faxes sent on application due dates.

Admissions offices are closed until at least Tues. Even if apps are due tomorrow or Sun., truth is adcoms are not standing by making sure that you get your stuff in on time. When mail goes to colleges’ admissions department, it goes first to the colleges’ mail rooms and may not get to the admissions office until a couple of days later. The mail may not be opened for a few more days.

When it comes to e-mailed apps, they also won’t be printed out for a while. That’s particularly true for things sent in on due dates. Thousands of apps will come in on due dates, and it will take days for those to be printed out.
