I recently discovered an error on my application with my AP score. My AP Chemistry score should actually be a 2 rather than a 4. I have already submitted my SIR to UC San Diego but am now distressed by thoughts of rescission. I have already taken the responsibility of contacting the ucapplications website immediately of this error to find a means of solving this issue (they said that the schools I applied to will be notified by the middle of this week).
I understand that AP scores are not greatly focused on compared to SATs, SAT IIs, and ACTs in the process of admissions, but I continue to feel deeply concerned about the possible outcomes of this situation. Can anybody lend me insight? Is rescission a great possibility?
I am honestly scared at this point. Please help!
