<p>I was just wondering what pull the MIT coaches have with the admissions office. I should be able to run track and contribute to the MIT team. How will this affect my chances?</p>
<p>Also, when it wants a rec from a Humanities teacher, would a Psych class count?</p>
<p>Psych counts as a Social Science, so you’re set for that. </p>
<p>MIT is DIII so being recruited won’t have a huge pull like it could in a D1 school, especially if you’re not on the top of the coaches list. That being said, it can only help. </p>
