I’ve set up an appointment with an admissions officer from MIT that’s visiting my school. I’m really nervous as this will be my first appointment with an admissions officer. Can anyone share past experiences as to how these appointments work and how to “get on their good side”?

Admissions officers visit dozens of high schools each week… for months. It’s unlikely that they will remember you personally after this recruiting season — but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t still try to “get on their good side.” Will this be an interview or just a Q/A session? How long?
