That sounds reasonable.

Michigan’s announcing by the 23rd, nullifying the argument that the latest EA decisions announcements are on the 20th

Plus I’m pretty sure Northeastern’s EA is also after the 20th

Stop worrying about the date! Go for a run. The date will come a LITTLE faster. I mean, if you do a 60 min run at 8:00 mile pace, I’d say you’d go forward in time ~.0001 seconds more. Just sayin’.

I am getting seriously irritated by people’s tendency to show up, ignore everyone else’s posts, and say something along the lines of “Oh God I’m so scared.” We’re ALL scared, kiddies. Hence the random conversations that you keep combo breaking!

And of course, someone will ignore this. Rant over.

IN OTHER NEWS… anyone here also EA to MIT’s nemesis, CalTech? <suspicious face=“”></suspicious>

noo i wish i had. i didn’t realize that caltech was early action until it was too late. =(

Nope. I don’t really want to go to the West Coast.

I applied EA to Caltech. It’s pretty much the only other school I would like to go to that actually has EA (I don’t really like Chicago ). I think their decisions come out the 15th, so…

here is what it said for my collegeboard account when I login. on the left hand side
12/15 Northwestern U IL: Deadline for college to notify students of early decision
12/15 Rice U: Deadline for college to notify students of early decision
12/15 Washington U St. L.: Deadline for college to notify students of early decision
12/20 MIT: Deadline for college to notify students of early action
12/20 U Chicago: Deadline for college to notify students of early action

I wonder if this means they have to notify us before that or that is the day when they will notify us. I really hope the first

I just checked my account, and it says that too. I hope that that isn’t the real date. I was hoping for notification next week.

I am pretty sure that Collegeboard needs to put some date, so they just put the higher end of the range when it may be. If they put the 15th and it came out the 16th, they would get a lot of negative feedback. They probably assumed that the decisions will be out on the 20th at the latest. That is my guess. Just wait for MITChris to make the announcement on College Confidential or for the MIT blogs to tell you the date. Even if you do not go on the MIT website or College Confidential, you will get an email notification. Do not worry.

I thought the exact same thing. December 20th is the very last day it could possibly be. I am still waiting on a notification from MIT.

I’m feeling December 16th. I feel like the people at MIT would be excited about Tron: Legacy (I sure am), so they probably wanna post it before the premiere on the 17th at Midnight (12:00 in the morning of the 17th; premiere dates are confusing). But yes, I think that’ll be it.

I think the 17th because it is a Friday, and tron comes out. It also happens to be my birthday.

Tron looks pretty good besides the fact that everyones costume is a one-piece leather jumpsuit with EL wire…

Even if the costumes aren’t exactly award winning, I still think Torn is going to be pretty epic. I’m excited for the soundtrack. Daft Punk is doing the entire soundtrack so it’s definitely going to be awesome.

does anybody else find the results thread extremely intimidating? lol it’s so weird to think i’m actually going to be posting in it this year

^^ Daft Punk? REALLY?? ooh sounds pretty epic…

yeah! They composed the entire soundtrack. There was a mini-episode on hulu on Daft Punk and that’s what they said.
here is the link if you want to check it out:
