MIT Class of 2015 Early Action Hopefuls

9 hours!!!

I don’t think I’ll be able to survive the next six hours. Why is time moving so slowly?

So does anyone know what will happen when we put in our info on the decision site? Will we get like a sentence or something that says,“Please try again on pie day.” Or maybe fireworks with,“You managed the impossible, welcome to MIT!” Let’s hope its not,“So your parents made you apply, we could tell! momentarily your myMIT will selfdestruct”

It is actually a long letter.

Just a few more hours.

One year ago today, it was a short letter, 1/4 of a page…

“We have completed our Early Action review of your application and have chosen to defer it…”

I just realized I made this thread, lol.

I have no school today due to a snowstorm. I have just been sitting around waiting all day. I am trying to stay busy though.

5 hours left.
Christ, I’m applying RD and I’m nervous about this. That’s just messed up.

grrrrr time cant possibly go any slowerrrrrrr! -_-

Ok, this is it! In less than 5 hours, we’ll either be really happy, really sad, or somewhat disappointed/still hopeful. Good luck to everyone, and I hope to talk with you guys in the decision thread!

I’m applying RD as a baseball recruit. Good luck to everyone who applied EA!

Good Luck everyone! No matter what happens, I’m sure you’re all amazing people and you’ll eventually get into one of your top schools (even if it isn’t MIT).

Lol I thought I’d be one of those people, face glued to the computer constantly pressing the refresh button right at 9:00 EST. But wow I’ve had such a lousy week with final exams. I honestly don’t think I could take another failure, and at this rate even if by some miracle I got in I’d probably just end up getting rescinded.

Well anyhow, I wish you guys the best of luck! I’ll probably be in bed catching up on all the sleep I’ve missed out on this week.

“It is 0days, 3hours, 47minutes and 11seconds until Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 9:00:00 PM (Boston time).”
Soooo close! I wish ALL of you the best of luck! If we don’t get in, it isn’t meant to be. Just have to keep that in the forefront of our minds. I know I am! Congratulations in advanced to all who are accepted! Though I don’t expect to, I’m looking forward to hearing from the CCers whom I feel I know well now. Haha. Good luck friends!

Oh god. Less than 3 hours T_T

I have a countdown clock and decisions.mit.edu as as two of my tabs.

win or fail?

I’m just gonna eat my dinner, finish my homework, watch The Big Bang Theory (which I’m sure many of you watch), and then just casually look on the site. No use hyping yourself up for a potential denial. If you get in, it’s all the more high you get!

Hi all! My brother attends MIT ('12) so I’m just dropping by to say good luck to everyone! : )

Thanks, I am not that nervous and am passing the time by playing drums and basketball (at the same time!)… BUT GOOD LUCK and DON’T WORRY! There is a college for all of us <3
