According to an EC on reddit, Yield was ~86% this year. MIT said in a blog post that they had admitted 1275 people when they released RA results. That works out to 1096 students. We don’t know how many additional/fewer spaces they had from/due to other sources (e.g. students taking a gap year or previous year’s gap year students starting this year) but I’d say fewer than 10 students were admitted in total.

I don’t know the exact amount. I did the reddit thread stating the 86% yield. I definitely know there was at least one person who deferred entry from last year (she’s awesome, like national-/international- level sailing and robotics in two countries, got injured so she couldn’t sail, combined robotics and sailing with end-of-life sailboats retrofitted with a robot to do harbor clean-up, was the only high school intern at the Senseable City Lab and they intentionally created an internship for her, etc.).
Basically the final tally is 1106. (1096+some deferred entry+some waitlist)
