MIT EECS doesn’t require GRE scores! Does it really matter if I don’t have GRE scores or poor score in verbal section?

This forum is generally for people looking to apply to MIT as an undergrad. But knowing the competitive nature of MIT’s graduate admission process, I would say that poor performance in standardized testing (whether it’s GRE or something else) will not help your case.

It does not matter, because the EECS department does not use GRE scores in their evaluation. You should not send an official GRE score report, and the department will not consider or see your scores.
