MIT/ engineering schools

from US report… and etc…

btw another question… As you know from my 1st post I am in Drumline… But next year becasue I am in the IB program I have to take a required Theory of Knowledge Class…

My school is a little different in their scedualing…

Theres 6 classes and zero period all together and three classes per day… Even classes one day and odd classes the other… ( zero is one hour and rest are about 2 hour classes) Becasue drumline takes up zero and one period (I may be able to skip that) I only have three class slots left…

I would have to take French 5, English, Econ/gov, and calculus also… So yoiu see the problem? Also like I said before I want to take AP Stats! So my sceduale is all messed up!

So I was thinking of maybe quitting drumline? But will quitting it look bad? Should I quit and take up all the AP’s? Becasue I was thinking of taking AP Calucus level Ab at school and BC at a college close by…

Well, if you do, you get a boost in GPA, but it may come off as purposeful GPA inflation, which is frowned upon (when it is blatant - this is pushing it).

UMD would love you…

And they have a fairly nice program.

Also, add U Minnesota. They hold their own, too.

you forgot Princeton and Cornell
