[The First Year at MIT For the Class of 2012](http://web.mit.edu/firstyear/2013/index.html)
Check it out…it even has info on the entrance exams…great…more stuff to prepare for…
edit:even tho it says 2012 here,it’s actually 2013

I am just…boggled…that in their resources & support section, they didn’t mention S^3 (that would be Student Support Services, aka “the counseling deans”.

Seriously? ***, UAAP?

Nor did they mention MIT Mental Health. Or Nightline (the peer-to-peer counseling service). Or the Disabilities Service Office and LGBT@MIT. Way to offer a comprehensive list of “Resources & Support” for freshmen, folks.

I’ve had my issues with UAAP because of their meddling in student affairs that shouldn’t have anything to do with them, but if they’re going to be the administrative point of contact with freshmen they should at least do a competent job of it.

Oh, and naturally, they don’t mention residence selection at all, or dorm rush in the Orientation section. But then, I don’t expect any better from UAAP on that subject.

note:the site isn’t complete yet, more stuff will be added as time goes on.

Of course not. That might encourage freshmen to think for themselves.

The site is usually fully updated for the incoming class on or around May 1.
