MIT, international applicants and SAT scores

<p>I read on the MIT website that a non-native English speaker should substitute the SAT I with the TOEFL. If you took both, would you write both on your application, or just the TOEFL?</p>

<p>No, a non-native English speaker can substitute TOEFL scores for SAT I scores. It’s not a requirement for non-native speakers to take the TOEFL.</p>

<p>If you have taken both, you can write both of your scores, and MIT will pick the score which makes you look best and use that score in the admissions process.</p>
