MIT Majors

Does MIT have a Biochemistry Major for undergraduate?

they have biology, chemistry, chemical engineering, a new (small/limited for a few years) bioengineering major, and an interdisciplinary biomedical engineering minor. no biochem per se, but a major/minor or double degree in some combination of the above probably will cover the subjects you’re looking for.

Ooh, and there’s a new biochemistry undergraduate association… although I can’t recall at the moment what it’s called.

There’s apparently a “major equivalent” for biochem through the chemistry department: <a href=“MIT Department of Chemistry – Department of Chemistry at MIT”>MIT Department of Chemistry – Department of Chemistry at MIT;

Here it says that the above program results in a “biochemistry certificate”…? Whatever that means…
