Today I’ve entered MyMIT account to check if my november SAT score arrived. However, I’ve noticed that bellow the Application Tracking blue box there is another new orange box called Financial Aid which gives me a website to access and mentions something about a MIT Kerberos ID. What is that and how am I gonna get that ID?
I don’t know about MIT, but check your email, perhaps also check a newly assigned MIT email acct. an email may contain that ID number.
I guess that ID is a login account, or a password, or a token to activate your FA account. I would try to open the web site and enter that ID. You can ask on the MIT forum.
Also…look in the corners of your MyMIT portal. Often, on portals, you’ll see numbers under your name in a corner. If so, that may be your ID number. You may need to click around on a few pages to find that. Hope that works
I don’t have an MIT email since I’ve applyied as a freshmen. But you are right! They do request an username that ends with @mit.edu. I think I’ll post a question on their blog
It was a glitch. You don’t actually get the ID until admitted.
