What Is Mit Better Than Stanford At
And Vice Versa?!

MIT is better at being a colder school
Stanford generally has hotter women (if you don’t count Wellesley girls at MIT parties =D )
MIT is more eclectic
Stanford is warmer

there is more stuff, but my response is meant to highlight that this thread is impossible to answer and pointless =P

Well…this is easy to answer.

MIT’s better. Unless you want to major in underwater basket weaving. Then Stanford is.

MIT is better. enough said.

My logic:

Stanford - Stan is a pansy name so Stanford must be a pansy school.

MIT - This acronym allows for a variety of cool meanings like

Manly Institute of Technology
Massachusetts Institute of Turtles (turtles pwn.)

and so on

Therefore
MIT > Stanford = Pansies
MIT - Pansies > Stanford
Stanford - MIT + Pansies < 0
d / dx MIT = Stanford’s women (We lie tangent to them curves all the time…)

lol…

let’s compare education and not women, shall we? thanks.

Stanford is better :)

MIT is better at underground tunnel systems.

only at mit can you find sephiroth’s kind of mathematical reasoning… =P. quite funny! hahaha.

of course people would say mit is better seeing that this is afterall the mit forum…

but let me say one thing: if you plan to major in eecs, go to mit. its eecs department is the best in the nation and probably the world (based on rankings).

i’m in california so i’m biased against stanford… haha. i just want to get out. so it’s mit for me. i didn’t evne apply to stanford actually…

Same. I’m from Cali but only applied to MIT, not stanford.

"
MIT’s better. Unless you want to major in underwater basket weaving. Then Stanford is.
"

That’s funny… someone at CPW was mentioned just that

Stanford, I mean comon its like living in the OC! Seriously, both rock so pick the one you like more. I would remind you that if you want to go to grad school, going to Stanford and experiencing grade inflation might be better then going to the deflated Mit.

Grad school is not the same thing as professional school – having a lower GPA won’t really matter for graduate school if you go to MIT; it matters a little more for professional school.

MIT is better!

The environment in Cambridge, MA is just so attractive.

plus… anna’s taqueria
;-)

Grade inflations are NOT important as long as you learn as much as possible!!!

MIT > Stanford
MIT > 2 x (Stanford)
MIT > 3 x (Stanford)
MIT > (Stanford)(Stanford)
MIT > (Stanford) ^ 4
MIT > (Stanford) ^ 9999
…
until we get
MIT = (Stanford)^(infinite)

i know this is abominable but

what schools grades easier

more possible fro 4.0

i know stanford has this +/- thing
but sitll…

what school grades easier

MIT’s the best! did you go to CPW? that should have tell you enough!

Stanford has A+, A, A-, B+, B, and so on.

At MIT, you will only receive a letter grade: A, B, C, D or F.

oh my frickin gosh cpw just blew all my other schools out of the water

MIT is amazing
