^If I remember correctly, no one from the East or West Coast has gotten anything yet… only people in the middle, mid-western states have gotten responses.

hey Melody224 what ap classes are u studying for the exam

I’m taking Bio, American History, and Calc AB. What about you?

government and english lang. What r u taking next year?

ahh, I’m in the mid-west and still nothing. So not cool… I’m only taking the English AP exam. I was supposed to be in APUSH but they couldn’t fit it in my schedule :/. Next year I’ll be taking 6 AP’s though (calc BC, Physics C, Chem 2, Eco, Comp Sci, English 4).

^holy moly those are alot of AP tests!
I’m not sure yet, because I’ll only take the AP test if the college I’m going to accepts the credit, or uses it for exemption from lower classes and whatnot. which SAT subject tests are you guys taking?

well, I’m still not sure which ones I’ll actually test for, but I’ll def. be in those classes next year. I might just take them all though. oh and im taking Gov ap nit eco, I always get those confused. I’m planning on taking the Math 2 SAT subject test and the physics one. (they do have a physics one right?) How bout you?

a lot of the colleges i want to apply to says they want a math and science. so probably math level 2 and physics since i am in it already this year. But i am still trying to figure out how that works with the subject tests. they are very new to me.

holy cow petri21! hey I’m guessing if u r taking ap computer science then u have some knowledge of it. How is it, I am thinking of taking it at my community college

yeah I have an idea that i want to take ap english lit, eco, and maybe spanish(not sure needs some feedback on that) but i might just take some classes at the community college to get the credit that weights the same as ap on a high school transcript.

Subject Tests in June: Biology, Chemistry (Not sure on this one yet, actually), and US History

AP Exams: Physics C (both), Art History, and Computer Science A (sadly AB is not offered next year) : /

I’m done with the Math 2 and Chemistry subject tests, but I still need a humanities one…I’m thinking history. Next year is going to be 10 times harder than this year…all of my classes will be AP!

^^Chemistry is easy to do well (750+) but hard to get an 800, if thats what your going for.

Did you get 800 in Math II?

lol well funny thing, I have absolutely no knowledge of comp sci. They have a comp sci 1, a comp sci 1 honors and a comp sci 1 ap. I could have signed up for any of those, I was going to sign up for honors since I don’t know anything about it, but my precacl teacher (who is also the compsci teacher) pretty much wrote the AP one onto my schedule and told me I was taking it. Hopefully I do well.

Hey guys!
How funny, I saw the movie KNOWING, and Nicholas Cage acts as an MIT proffesor.
Thought I’d share!

Since you guys are sharing AP’s, I should pitch in!
I took AP Bio, Psychology, and Calculus AB last year.
This year I’m taking AP Physics, Calculus BC, Spanish, and English 3!

Next year I’m planning to take AP Physics C, Environmental Science, English 4, Government & Economics, and Art History.
^.^

ansar: No, I got a 730…I was kinda upset. But not upset enough to retake it
Petri21, I’m take comp sci next year, and honestly I’m kinda scared. I’m not too good with computers at all! i hope i do well too

dang thats a lot of AP’s krysty (: I should take the Spanish AP test, but since I didn’t take the spanish AP course at my school I would have to pay full price for the AP test. I’d probably ace it (I’m almost fluent in spanish and my sister got a 5 hardly trying) but I really don’t want to pay for it.

i never took a subject test. How are they? are they as long as the regular sat test.

@melody224
how was the math 2 subject test

Krysty, what did you think of the Bio AP Test? Any advice/prep books you liked?
thanks! and my favorite MIT related movie would have to be 21!

@ Melody, I’m soo scared too, I’m rubbish with computers. I don’t know what possessed me to sign up for it (perhaps my precalc teacher??). I think we’ll both be fine though (: We’ve survived all our other classes so far…

^^BlackRose21, the Math2 is pretty easy, my advice is to take it after precalc!!! basically that’s all you need to know. and also, they always have a matrix question…so you might want to brush up on those if you’ve learned them before…if you don’t know about them, no worries-you can miss like 6 and still get an 800!
subject tests are only 1 hour and you can take up to 3 on a given day. PM me if you guys have any questions on Math 2 or Chem :)
