MITES 2009 Information and Discussion

i wonder how hard computer science is?

Ugh I hate the movie 21! well actually it’s a pretty fantastic movie, It’s just I watched it on an international flight to Europe and an hour into the movie the tv system went down so I had to start the movie all over again and then it gets to the last 30 minutes of the movie this time and the sytem poops out again!!! I never got to see the ending, but I saw the rest twice, I’m still pretty ticked. Stupid american airlines and their shoddy wiring jobs…

Haha, I hope so petri! Everyone at my school who has taken the class says its a joke its so easy, but i bet it won’t be for me!

thanks Melody224. I think i’ll pm u I don’t want to hog the forum.

well, the book is better anyway…where in Europe did you go Petri?

well we don’t have it at my school. they only have it at the community college

I’ve pretty much hogged this forum too! lol
Like basically all of my posts are in this forum

@ melody, Well I actually went on a cruise that took off from England so we stopped in England, Gibraltar, Italy, France, Spain and Portugal. It was really nice, but I would have preferred it if it wasn’t a cruise. On cruises you hardly get anytime to explore the different places you go to and that’s really the most fun part. It was really great though, I loved Europe. I think I’ll visit again someday

^Thats so cool! I’ve never been to a European country except for England. But I would love to do a year abroad to a European country!

Hey!
Everyone’s told me the AP Spanish test is really easy!
Everyone that I know who has taken it has gotten a 5.
Also, about AP Biology:
As long as you study, you’ve got it.
The year I took it contained many many plant questions, something I wasn’t too familiar wait, so it brought my score down.
Study plants!!!
Also, I found the Barron’s study book and flash cards a great review!

awww man now i can’t wait for summer vacation. Europe sounds nice right now

^ a year abroad would be amazing! you should really do it if you get the chance, I’m sure you’d love it. I think that if I did study abroad I’d like to go to south or central America. I’ve been to Mexico and Honduras and the diving is great so I’d love to go back. I don’t really know how much studying I’d get done though…(:

familiar with***
lol

@Krysty214
yeah but was all of your friends spanish? I’m just wondering. Like I want to take AP spanish but my teacher kindof sucks i had her this year and last, and she talks super fast in spanish and english. but anyways if anyone has feedback on it please share

Well, we’re all pretty fluent in Spanish.
So i’m guessing that’s why it’s so easy.
And believe me, my teacher isn’t so great either.
But if you know a good amount of Spanish, you’re totally in!

They took out the writing part this year right? so then that just leaves reading, comprehension, grammer and some vocab. that’s not too bad.

Thanks for all your advice Krysty
I’m excited for summer break too! But I’m not excited for what comes after that…college apps. dun. dun. DUUNNN…lol
we’re almost at 600 posts guys!

lol wait u guys all live in miami,fl so I’m not surprised if you all know a good amount of spanish. The think that kills me is listening. I can read it pretty well it’s just the listening I take a while to comprehend. haha Krysty224 you make me feel so much better.

oh I am so not excited for college apps. that is going to be…interesting. I am excited for what happens aftre that though…graduation, college admissions, and summer (:

woot woot let’s make 600! hey Melody224 it just hit me when u said it before that I might have to take a job to pay for all of these applications next year.
