<p>How many people do you guys think MITES puts on their wait-list?
It’s killing me.</p>

<p>I was working out the statistics:
If out of regular MIT decisions, 25 thousand students apply, and 300 get wait-listed (lets say maximum), that’s a 1% chance of being on the list.
So, if you apply those same rules onto these decisions, it works out to be that 10-12 students are on the MITES wait-list.</p>
<p>So maybe i do have a chance?

<p>if they applied to pther programs and got accepted there and they wanted to go there more than MITES. I dunno I know know that at first the Penn SAAST Summer program was my first choice cause I know more about it but now I’m not sure if I want to go to MITES(if I get accepted) probably though</p>
