Yeah, my semester grades havn’t come yet…
I got the same SAT score but way low on reading.

@NiteStriker: Isn’t AP Psychology a social science or something like that? not an actual science course, but I guess it wouldn’t hurt. =)

I got a 1950 on my SAT

670 on math and writing
610 for reading

I got a 610 on reading too, but a 680 on math.
Are you all taking it again?

i guess.
but i just don’t know which to send in ?
which is better?
hlp!!!

@ nil

I’m sending both because they’re pretty much the same…
I don’t know, but do they like to see a high math score? If they do, then send in just PSAT…if not then send both. I think they care more about essays and extracirricular stuff.

I’m definitely going to take it again in June and probably October.

my PSAT:
CR 51
M 73
WR 57

SAT
CR 560
M770
WR 670

should i send in my PSAT score then…?

@Snowing:
I know what happened now. When you finished all the sections in the online application, then the ‘submit’ button will appear. I just done my application, then it showed up. So, don’t worry about it.

Ah, that makes sense. I guess they did that just to prevent people from submitting an empty application by accident. Anyway, I didn’t notice that until I was done :D

@lily2208:
thank you I am sending my supplements today and I will finish my online application during the weekend! Good luck to all!

Quick question: are we supposed to include a copy of our citizenship/greencard along with the recs and stuff or is that after we’re accepted? Thanks guys!

@lovinglife:

from the online application sign in page:

In addition, you will need to mail in your official high school transcript for Grades 9 & 10, 11th Grade 1st semester grades, PSAT, PLAN, SAT I or ACT scores, letters of evaluation (math, science, and counselor), picture, and proof of citizenship (upon acceptance).

So, I guess you need to prove it after you get accepted. =)

If our test scores are on our transcript, do we need to provide the photocopies?

I would assume so, that way they can verify the scores. MIT (the actual college) specifically says they need the official score report (photocopy for MITES) and won’t accept just the online submitted and transcript scores. I’m guessing MITES is the same way.

Sent my application in the mail today and I’m about to do one last proofread before I submit my online app. good luck to all and i’ll be back on this topic around acceptance time.

1 Question…
one of my teachers sent their rec on a school stationary but not on a school envelope- is this okay?

^That will be fine.

How many people usually apply/get accepted ino MITES?

I read that last year there was close to 1000 (or 1000+) applicants and about 70 got accepted.
