Well no. But if you have the top project in regionals then you automatically go to ISEF no matter how you do in state. It’s called, “grand champion” and that’s what I want.</p>

<p>Lol. I’m just using a magnetic field to see if my chemical can change structure from cis- to trans- and this is good for pharmacists when they are making drugs/medicine for their patients. Haha.</p>

<p>haha. my school is full of super rich people who take private sat prep and stuff. i consider myself to be low income but the county doesn’t think so =p so technically i have to have low income according to county standards to get a fee waiver where i live. it’s stupid. </p>

its sad. According to where i live, i’m above the average income, but according to the state Texas, i’m below the income lol. And since like where i live EVERYBODY is below the state average income we get free fee waivers lol. </p>

<p>oh that’s sad. =( haha, i live on the edge of my school border and my school is in a rich area so my bus is full of low income people but the school is 98% above the average income for the state…I’m pretty sure. A lot of kids parents are politcally involved or militarily, etc.</p>

<p>@hpaero1 ugh i wish i went to a school like that, people at my school dont care about education or college or anything, they get pregnant and they think working at a low paying job such as mcdonalds is good enough for them to survive. i kinda hate it, because i feel misplaced.</p>
<p>98% of my school is hispanic, and i’m like 5 mins away from mexico lol. Most of their parents don’t even work! and like most of them are on food stamps etc. </p>
<p>My mom works at a magnet school, and she didn’t let me go there because they had no “band” i was like ugh! i wanted to go there so bad, their always ranked nationally as a top ranked high school. while mine isn’t. </p>

really? they don’t care? hmm they should care and try to do well. yeah, i’m sorry =( my school is too competitive. I always feel stupid in a lot of my classes because a lot of people are amazing geniuses and have A+ in all APs so in that sense I don’t like it, but it’s good that people are determined to go to college and stuff. </p>

<p>we were #50 something last year lol…my school put this huge banner outside and gave out pencils to everyone. everyone thought they went kinda overboard about a #50 something ranking.
this year we are out of the top 100 lol</p>
<p>haha, no it’s a separate online program where if you do well you get to go to the NASA langley research center for a week. our assignments are due every 2 weeks
I think they have something like it in TX too… I think it’s called aerospace scholars and they get to go to the LBJ nasa center in houston</p>

<p>I just received my MITES confirmation email. Notifications come out on the 16th…and so the wait begins.</p>
