<p>@score talk: I sent a 202 PSAT, w/ 61 M. 2040 SAT w/ 630 M. 9/303 in my class. 4.0 GPA. So, scores aren’t everything. I also don’t have <em>any</em> math/science ECs; they’re all music or service-oriented. And I put down two awards: chemistry & chorus. So… scores/credentials aren’t everything. I’m assuming it was my recs. and essays that got me in.</p>
<p>Can anyone who has taken MOSTEC please share their experience/what it was like.</p>
<p>I took computer science! Absolutely loved it. :3 class takes place in the google center nearby. Awesome place ^.^</p>

<p>DD14 didn’t get in. Congrats to all of you that did! She applied and was accepted to 2 programs. One is for cancer research at the Yale School of Medicine.</p>
<p>The other is more of a materials based engineering/ research program at Yale science labs. </p>
<p>Still waiting to hear from another program at Yale U where she will be able to take 2 classes during the Yale Summer Session and stay on campus for 5 weeks. </p>
<p>I wish she were going to MITES. Sounds like an amazing summer. I am far more disappointed than she is! Lol. I think she wanted to stay in town this summer but really hasn’t said it. She was away the past 2 summers.</p>
<p>@NewHavenCTmom, what’s this Yale summer research program you speak of. I’ve never heard of such opportunity. Show us please!</p>
<p>It’s called Discovery to Cure. 25 students are chosen out of 200 applicants or so. Google it. You should be able to find the info. Unfortunately, the deadline has since passed. The other is CRISP.</p>
