I’m talking charitable difference…

Random, but did anyone here do the spelling bee in middle school? Like, the Scripps National Bee?

“Telsa made a huge difference but he died dirt poor.”

I don’t know about you all, but I’d rather make a difference than be immensely rich. I feel if I had the money I could contribute more to the needy, but it’s usually one or the other. I don’t necessarily live to make world peace, but I definitely want to help those who are striving for success and to impact the world. For example, when I die, I want to be remembered for being a successful and not corrupt person who made many generous contributions to the world; not the richest minority alive.

I sometimes feel like I am going to do something great, but maybe that’s just my old noggin up there. lbs

"…not the richest minority alive…"

That made my day.

Good luck taking that title from the great Carlos Slim Helú.

I think you put it very well Nashia. “Not the richest minority alive” Haha, that brings to mind Carlos Slim…
I defintiely have aspirations in life; I want to travel and see the world, and that requires a decent amount of money, but I don’t need to have a Tony Stark lifestyle, or even close to that.
I’ll just complete Tesla’s plan for wirelessly transmitting energy through the air. Free energy for everyone!!!

Wow Rivstein I didn’t see your post before I submitted that ^^ XD

@lovely no I didn’t lol.

Economical Discussion. There is only one thing I want money for, and that is my dream car, the Audi r8. I don’t mind being as poor as I otherwise XD.

I’d rather take intellect. Explain later, typing on an iPod isn’t fun…

I just found out that even if you don’t get into MITES or E2 but you get into MOSTEC, you still get to go to MIT. They have a five day conference for the MOSTEC kids!

I would love to travel as well, but that’s probably because I am a Sagittarius.

And if I am going to be rich, I’m going to be better than Mr. Helu. lol I was thinking of him too when I said that. I don’t hear him making any contributions to society. However, I am not with him 24/7 so

@Riv And I’m sure taking his title won’t be hard. You must not forget, I’m a BOSS! lol

1) Rather take immense intellect over immense riches. Generally, there IS a correlation, but really, I don’t want to be IMMENSELY rich. I want to be rich enough to live comfortably and provide for the next generation. Other than that, I can dedicate my life to learning more and making the world a better place.
Neil deGrasse Tyson
“For me, I am driven by two main philosophies: know more today about the world than I knew yesterday and lessen the suffering of others. You’d be surprised how far that gets you.” - Neil deGrasse Tyson

2) Concerning E2/MOSTEC… I’d much rather take MOSTEC. I’m not that intense on engineering; plus, if I do MOSTEC, I can do another program on the side (in the case that I’m accepted to anything else XD)

What’s the difference between E2 and MOSTEC? I thought they were the same except MOSTEC has a six-month online enrichment program as well.

As long as Bernanke keeps embracing his printing fetish, everyone of us will become billionaires someday.

Us: I’ll have a large number 6 and a mcflurry…

Cashier: Sure thing. That’ll 50 million Bernanke Bills.

I thought it was Bernanke. Anyways, at least this isn’t Zimbabwe a few years ago. I remember seeing that toilet paper was about 17mil of whatever currency they had per package. Millions of units of currency were common, and million dollar and billion dollar bills were common.

@Hoctopi I thought we were one in the same with that quote; but then you said you weren’t all that into engineering. *Places hand over heart… What kind of person are you!? Just kidding. That is a really great quote though. And what do you plan on becoming?

fixed 10char

My hand gets sore when I do the pledge…
Placing my hand on my rock hard pec every morning is a hazard.
If only I had a soft, gelatinous titty to place my hand on…

justrivsteinthings

@Run It is Bernanke. Also, I heard it is like that in many countries.

I’m going to move to Zimbabwe with my USD and flaunt my wealth. You know, throwing bands (of my dollar bills) and making people dance. lol Does anyone know of that song?

@Riv You are such a funny (insert noun here). Haha!
