That’s too bad @hyperbola. Hopefully you also had some alternates. I only applied to the OEOP programs, which is a stupid move in hindsight. But best of luck to all those who applied. This wait will be terrible I can feel it already.
I wish I spent more time on my application! There are so many things that I could’ve done better. Also, I was bored and I went through the MITES 2016 forum and about 1 in 3 students who posted their results got into MITES so we gotta stay optimistic! Do yall have anything else planned for the summer if MITES doesn’t work out?

It’s insane that almost 2,000 kids apply to MITES and only about 50 of these people are on this College Confidential Page. I wonder how the majority of people learn about MITES if not from CC.

hours googling free programs. I found CC afterwards

@minimango A kid at my school got in last year and on the first day, MITES told them they were the top 80 from a pool of 2,000 applicants
That percentage is more difficult than Stanford… Does this mean that if I get into MITES then I can get into Stanford :)) lol jk
@Soccer1235 My friend who went to MITES got into Harvard early so your chances would be good if you get into MITES.
