I agree with essays, I only do one extracurricular, and somehow got in, which is crazy

Got rejected, but have UC COSMOS, UCLA HSSRP, and some other programs as backups.
Congrats to all those who get accepted; the 6 weeks at MIT will truly be life-changing. For those who got denied(like me), do not look down. Many students who are not admitted to these programs are accepted to MIT, and vice versa.
Our son will be attending MITES too! We are incredibly thankful and so proud-
