Hi, is anyone here familiar with MITES at all?

I’m really interested in it and am planning to apply. The only problem is: they require a letter from math teacher and another from science teacher, and I don’t have a math teacher! (I’ve been taking math online since sophomore year so the last “real” last teacher of mine was an algebra teacher…) What should I do? Can I substitute it with a science teacher that knows my math skill or a math teacher that’s kind of close with me (math league teacher) but has never taught me anything? I called MITES on Friday but they asked me to leave a message and they haven’t reply yet. The deadline’s kind of approaching so I thought I’d post my question here and see if anyone (by any chance) knows this. Any response would be appreciated. :)
