Mix and match SAT ? Excessive SAT taking?

Do most colleges take the best SAT score from each test from more than one exam ?

Example: 700/650/600- test #1
720/640/590- test #2

Mix and match- 720/650/600

Do most colleges feel 3 SAT’s are excessive ?

Thanks

Most colleges (with the exception of the UC’s and a few others) will “mix and match” SAT scores from different test administrations. The way it stands right now, your composite SAT is a 1970. There is no real limit on the number of SAT’s taken and the general advice from AdCom’s is to take it as many times as you are comfortable with, if you think you can increase your score each time. Most people normally stop around three, because if you’ve taken the test three times and your score is stagnating even after prepping, there’s not much that can be done to give it a tremendous boost

Thanks…was wondering about ut

Sorry, but what exactly does “UCs” mean?

UCs mean like UCLA, UC Sandiego, UC Berkley…all the UC schools in calilfornia…

Ahh that makes sense. I was thinking it was going to be something more like HYPS or something…
