<p>As a student well aware of the great competition between UPenn applicants, I’m wondering if any of you can shed some light or share your perspectives on what the applicant pool of a new major (MKSE) - one which has a seemingly narrow focus. </p>
<p>This question can also be broadened to the history of applicant pools of new programs in general. Is there typically a rush towards the new majors or is it more of a trickling in of students?</p>
